Scribb: Sudoku Privacy Policy
Scribb doesn't collect any information about you. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking, and the app never connects to the internet. Your game stays on your iPad.
What stays on your iPad
To pick up where you left off, Scribb saves a few things in its own private storage on your device:
- Your current puzzle, its difficulty, the numbers and notes you've entered, and how long you've played it
- Your Library: the puzzles you've solved, with the date and your solve time for each
- Your settings: whether the keypad is shown, your Apple Pencil double-tap and squeeze choices, and whether you've seen the How to play guide
None of this is sent to us or anyone else. It may be included in your device backups (iCloud Backup or a computer backup), depending on your own backup settings. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Your handwriting
When you write with Apple Pencil, iPadOS's Scribble feature turns your handwriting into text, and Scribb only receives the resulting number. The app doesn't save, view or share your drawings. Scribble itself is part of iPadOS and covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
What Scribb doesn't do
- No sign-in or account
- No advertising and no advertising identifiers
- No analytics, crash reporting or third-party code that collects data
- No tracking across apps or websites
- No network connections
Children
Because Scribb collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of Scribb works with data differently, for example by adding optional features that need it, we'll update this page and the app's App Store privacy details before that version is released, and change the date at the top.
